Sweet Bonanza Candyland feels less like a casino game and more like a TV game show, with a live host, a giant wheel, and a lot of candy-coloured fun. The idea is simple: you pick where you think the wheel will land and see if luck is on your side. This guide on how to play Sweet Bonanza Candyland at M88 walks you through it from the very first click.
Sweet Bonanza Candyland rules and bonus features
Sweet Bonanza Candyland game mixes the classic money wheel with the sugary world of Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza slot. A live host spins a tall wheel with 54 coloured segments, and your job is to predict where the pointer will stop.
Most segments carry a 1, 2, or 5 that set your payout, while a few special ones bring in multipliers and bonus games for bigger wins. The rules are easy to pick up, and the sections below cover each round, the bets and payouts, and the special features.
#1. How a round of Sweet Bonanza Candyland works
Every round of Sweet Bonanza Candyland follows the same four-stage loop, from the moment betting opens to the moment winnings are paid out. Rounds move quickly, and once you watch one, you know them all. Here is what happens at each stage.
How a round of Sweet Bonanza Candyland works
The betting window opens: a countdown starts, and you place chips on the betspots you like. You can back on spot or several, and the Total Bet window keeps a running count of your stake. Anything placed after the timer ends doesn’t count.
The host spins the wheel: once betting closes, the live host sets the wheel in motion, and the pointer sweeps past the segments.
The wheel stops, and the result is set: the result is locked in when the pointer rests inside a segment between two pins. The winning segment is highlighted on screen so there’s no doubt about the outcome.
Winning bets are paid: if your betspot matches the segment, you’re paid at that segment’s odds. The win message in the centre of the screen shows the amount, and it includes your original stake. Bets on any other spot are lost.
The winning segment is highlighted on screen so there’s no doubt about the outcome.
Nor does every spin end at step 4. If the pointer lands on a bonus segment or a Sugar Bomb, the round carries on a little longer, and the next sections explain how.
#2. Sweet Bonanza Candyland game bets and payouts
Sweet Bonanza Candyland Pragmatic Play has six bet spots on the table, and you can back one, a few, or all six in the same round. A bet wins when the pointer stops inside a segment with your symbol, and it loses if the pointer stops on anything else. Here is how each bet pays:

The wheel has 54 segments in total. The other 3 belong to Sugar Bomb, which isn’t a Betspot but can multiply your wins whenever it lands. Your stake is returned on top of any winnings.

Wins are capped at 20,000x your bet or €500,000, whichever is reached first, and the game carries on as normal once the cap is hit. The theoretical RTP is up to 96.95%, with a minimum of 91.59%.
#3. Sugar Bomb multiplier and Sugar Bomb Booster
Sugar Bomb is the three-wheel multiplier segment; when the pointer stops on it, the round doesn’t end. It turns into a bonus spin that can make your wins a lot bigger.
Sugar Bomb multiplier and Sugar Bomb Booster
The game picks a random multiplier between 2x and 10x, and the host spins the wheel again with that multiplier attached. While this happens, all bets stay in their spot, and no new bets can be placed. Every player sees a multiplier marker next to their bets, so you can see what’s riding on the next spin.
The next spin works as usual: if it stops on a segment you backed, you win. The difference is that your payout is multiplied, and this includes bonus game wins as well as number wins. If the wheel lands on another Sugar Bomb, the process repeats, and the new multiplier is multiplied by the last one. The host keeps spinning until the wheel stops on a number, Sweet Spins, or Candy Drop.
One of the Sweet Bonanza Candyland bonus games
The Sugar Bomb Booster: The Booster is an optional switch on the game screen, set to off by default. When it’s on, it doubles any Sugar Bomb multiplier generated for you, so a 4x becomes 8x. It isn’t free. Turning it on costs an extra 25% of your total bet, so a RM20 total bet adds RM5. Every player gets the Sugar Bomb multiplier either way, but only players with the Booster on get it doubled.
#4. Sweet Bonanza Candyland bonus games
Three segments on the wheel lead to bonus rounds instead of a plain number payout: Sweet Spins, Candy Drop, and Bubble Surprise. To join one, you need to bet on its spot when the wheel stops on it. The game then leaves the wheel and switches to a candy-themed bonus screen.
The screen switches to a slot-style round based on Sweet Bonanza, with 10 free spins on a 6×5 grid.

Sweet Spins bring a slot-style round to play
Each bonus game plays differently, but all three need a bet on the matching spot before the wheel stops. Sweet Spins bring a slot-style round, Candy Drop a plinko-style drop, and Bubble Surprise can end in a prize or a place in another bonus. If you want a shot at them, place a bet on those spots before the timer runs out.

For my first round, I kept it simple and tapped the 1 spot, the most common number on the wheel, with 23 of the 54 segments. A small countdown circle on the wheel shows how much time is left to bet.
Play the game with a minimum bet of RM5
When the timer ended, the host spun the wheel, and the pointer at the top slowly came to a stop. (7) In my round, it landed on 1, the same spot I had picked, and the winning segment was shown clearly on the screen.
A bet on 1 pays 1:1, and your stake comes back on top of the win. While you wait for the next round, the left side of the screen lists recent winners and the top win.
That’s all it takes to play Sweet Bonanza Candyland at M88. Log in, open the game under ‘Game shows’ in Studio M88 Europe, and place your bet from RM5. If the wheel lands on a bonus game and you’ve bet on that spot, the game takes you to its bonus screen. If it lands on Sugar Bomb, the host re-joins with a 2x or 10x multiplier on your wins. After that, the wheel results and the next round opens for bets.
04 Pointers before playing the Sweet Bonanza Candyland game
Sweet Bonanza Candyland is simple to learn, and rounds move fast, which is why a little preparation goes a long way. Spend a minute learning how to bet at M88 and reviewing these five pointers before your first bet, so you know what you’re doing when the timer starts.
Pointers before playing the Sweet Bonanza Candyland game
Set a budget before you sit down: the game runs on luck, and its RTP is a long-term average, not a promise for one session. Decide what you’re happy to spend and stop when you reach it.
Place your bets early: bets made after the timer ends don’t count. Check the total bet window to confirm your stake before the wheel spins.
Count the booster into your stake: The Sugar Bomb booster adds 25% to your total bet, so turn it on only if the higher stake fits your budget.
Read the welcome bonus terms: Before you claim the 125% bonus, check the minimum deposit and wagering requirement on M88’s promotion page.
That’s all it takes to play Sweet Bonanza Candyland at M88
None of these pointers guarantees a win, but they keep your play organised and within your limits. Know the rules, play to a budget, and treat each round as part of the show, and the wheel will be much more fun to watch.
